Bilingual education (TTO)
Broaden your horizon
Language proficiency in English
Of course, language skills are important in bilingual education. We therefore encourage you to communicate in English from the very first day of school. Tto students speak to each other in English as much as possible and subjects such as history, geography and biology are taught in English in the basics. Since English is not only the language of instruction, but also the language of communication, you will learn the language faster and better. In addition, you take separate, recognised, external language exams. At secondary school, this concerns Anglia or Cambridge exams. At HAVO and VWO, the intention is to go out with an internationally recognised IB diploma. That's how you push your boundaries!
As a tto school, we offer the lessons as much as possible from an international perspective in order to develop your world citizenship. We organise international days and collaborative projects, in which you gain knowledge about various cultures, but also gain insight into your own cultural development. The building blocks of attitude, knowledge, skills and values are the general spearheads of world citizenship.
